Anacocoa is inspired by the name of Queen Anacaona (1474-1504), which means golden flower in the Taïno Language. She ruled the Caciquat of Xaragua currently located in Haiti, on Hispaniola Island. The island is known for preserving one of the rarest and best tasting variety of Cacao, called Criollo.

At Anacocoa, we are driven by a passion for creating positive change in the world through the production of exquisite fair trade natural dark chocolate, and cacao powder. Our mission is to empower Haitian cocoa farmers, promote sustainable agricultural practices, and delight chocolate lovers with ethically sourced, high-quality treats.
