Anacocoa Hot Chocolate Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups water

  • 1 cinnamon stick

  • 2 star anise

  • 2 tablespoons hot chocolate mix (or cocoa powder)

  • Sugar (to taste)

  • A pinch of salt

Instructions:

  1. Boil the Water: In a saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.

  2. Add Spices: Once boiling, add the cinnamon stick and star anise. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 5-10 minutes to infuse the flavors.

  3. Mix Hot Chocolate: In a separate bowl, combine the hot chocolate mix (or cocoa powder) with a little bit of the hot water to make a smooth paste.

  4. Combine: Remove the saucepan from heat and strain out the spices. Add the hot chocolate mixture to the infused water, stirring well to combine.

  5. Season: Add sugar to taste and a pinch of salt, stirring until dissolved.
